A distinctive venue

The Hub’s unique venue and business support mechanisms bring the Life Sciences sector together, communicating opportunities and enabling collaboration between those who may not otherwise have connected.

The Chris McGuigan Hub (named after the late Professor Chris McGuigan) is open to members, and non-members, to host their own meetings and events pertinent to the sector, with members benefitting from ongoing hire discounts and benefits.

There is a state-of-the-art flexible layout lecture theatre, with full integrated AV capability, that hosts up to 90 delegates, and six meeting rooms ranging in size hosting between six to 18 people.

The look and feel of the interior is science and nature themed, reflecting the scope of the Life Sciences sector, and features a living moss wall, over-sized test tubes, silver birch timbers, and acoustic blood cells.
