Innovate UK Briefing – Emerging and Enabling Technologies R&D Call – Round 3

As part of the Innovate UK Delivery Plan, Innovate UK is to invest up to £15 million in innovative projects in Emerging and Enabling Technologies. Innovate UK, The KTN, The Welsh Government together with the North Wales Photonics Launchpad, a Project delivered by the Welsh Optoelectronic Forum, are holding a Briefing in Cardiff on the next round of funding for the Emerging and Enabling Technologies.
This event will benefit:-

Applying these technologies in the following Sectors:-
- Energy & Environment Sector
- Construction Sector
- Creative Industries Sector
- Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Sector
- Financial & Professional Services Sector
- Food & Farming Sector
- Information & Communications Technologies (ICT) Sector
- Life Sciences Sector
Proposals are sought that will kick-start collaboration between business and research organisations and that have substantial and scalable commercial potential.

Enabling technologies include:
- Cyber security
- The internet of things
- Space Applications
- Sensors and photonics

*The Scope for this competition has yet to be confirmed, but is likely to be similar to the second round of funding.
